Robin Sachs, an English actor who played villainous Ethan Rayne on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, died February 1, 2013. He was 62.
Sachs, who was born in London, got his start in British films such as Vampire Circus and Henry VIII and His Six Wives, and TV programs such as Love and Mr. Lewisham, Upstairs, Downstairs, Rob Roy and Brideshead Revisited.
He began appearing in American television in the early 1990s and went on to appear in many series, including Jake and the Fatman, Herman's Head Murder, She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, Walker, Texas Ranger, Alias, Castle, NCIS and many more.
In addition, Sachs lent his voice to numerous video games, including Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Resident Evil: Outbreak -- File #2, Rainbow Six: Lockdown, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age: Origins -- Awakening and Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days.
