38th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards Call for Entries & Judges

Important dates now available — deadline for entries and judging applications is February 1.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Daytime Programming peer group would like to remind all Television Academy members who work in daytime television of important dates that have been announced for the 38th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which administers the Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards, has released its 2010-2011 calendar as follows:

January 3, 2011
Rulebook and By-Category Submission Guide posted at www.daytimeemmys.tv. (click on the “downloads” button to the left of the page). You do not have to be logged in to view or access these documents.

January 5, 2011
Daytime Online system becomes available to begin the entry process and judging registration.

February 1, 2011
Deadline to complete online entry data (“paperwork” portion ONLY) and apply to judge.

February 18, 2011
General Deadline for delivery of DVD submissions to All Mobile Video in NYC.

February 25, 2011
Drama Series Performer categories Pre-Nomination Results

March 11, 2011
Drama Performer DVD submissions due to All Mobile Video (after Pre-Nomination process has determined individuals advancing to the screening round). Deadline also for any supporting documentation for Drama categories.

Week of March 31, 2011
Judging DVDs are sent out and Judging begins.

April 25, 2011
Judging Ballots return deadline

May 11, 2011
Nomination Announcements

June 17, 2011
Daytime Creative Arts and Entertainment Emmy® ceremony — Westin Bonaventure Hotel, Downtown Los Angeles.

June 19, 2011
Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards — Hilton Hotel, Las Vegas.
