Top producers and stars gathered for the second Television Academy Honors, recognizing “Television with a Conscience.” The Honors, created by the Television Cares Committee, celebrated eight productions that have had significant impact on viewing audiences and tackle vital issues: adoption, gun control, the fight against cancer, endangered species, questions of faith and other timely subjects.
